So this week was crazy. I began classes and had extra-work to do. I also lost my cell phone twice at the extra-work (LEAP mid-winter meeting, 6-9, Tuesday after classes and work, since nine). Kristin found it twice for me. I felt so dumb! But I was tired and whacked out of my mind from cookies and soda. If that's an excuse, lol.

I am also too nice. My one TLA keeps not showing up for work. She calls, but still. She made a commitment to be there! Am I wrong? So I have to deal with that sometime too, but I don't want to, I hate confrontation. The librarians are also upset at the noisy kids, but what can you do? They're kids, they'll only be so quiet. So the librarians are not too much happy with me, I think. Oh well.

My classes, on the other hand, are amazing. I love Jen Snead's Bluestocking class, and Professor Richetti. He teaches "The Novel of Adventure." He just goes off on random, very amusing tangents in the middle of a discussion. On Thursday he had to stop and ask me, "How did I get on this topic again?" When the fire alarm was going off in not-quite-so-finished Bennet Hall, he told us to just keep going. And we sat there until someone told us to get out, lol.

I lied about not being excited for Roman History. I like it. I'm reading Livy's History of Rome, and it has the Romulus and Remus myth in it, which makes me totally go fangirl over Remus Lupin. So now he's my desktop. Which is not why I like the class, but I figured it was worth mentioning. (why?)

Also, did you know coursebooks aren't taxed? I didn't. This came as quite a revelation for me.
