Thanksgiving!

ichinichinemasuYay! In half an hour I get to go home for Thanksgiving. It's wierd. There's no one left on campus- I won't see my Penn friends or work friends for four whole days! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I have no plans all weekend except for Thanksgiving day...
Wow. Three whole days with nothing to do. Wow. Just reading and stuff. This has not happenned to me since May. Not that I'm complaining, I need the break, and badly.
So I decided that yeah, a lot of bad stuff has been happening to me lately. But, I have to learn to work past that and not let it bother me. You can't define yourself by others, but you can try your best to be the person that you want to be and still be kind; and there's only a certain extent you can take that kindness to. You have to remember, for every one person that hates you or bothers you, there's ten more that like you for who you are, and they're more worth it to have in your life anyway. Just like for every moment you fall and hurt yourself, or every bad moment that you have, there's at least as many good moments to balance it out. And it's the good people and good moments you have to concentrate on, and not obsess over the bad things, because then your life'll surely be a living hell.
